"Delightfully wayward takes on standard Celtic and American repertoire mixed with occasional
neo-classicisms. Deft duet playing born of the Martin Hayes/Dennis Cahill school of synchronicity crossed
with David Grisman's unpredictability. Tasteful and imaginative arrangements delivered with wry humour - recommended" - fRoots Magazine

"Truly amazing! 'Zephyr in the Confetti Factory' is a beautiful piece of artwork
brought to us by two of the best musicians of their kind, Jamie Laval and Ashley Broder.
This album has a very unique sound, with influences from Irish and Scottish music. As we made our way through this CD, we were astonished with the quality of the music presented on it. We immediatly fell in love with this album, and every time we listen, it gets better and better!"

I found this music moving and playful, imaginative and passionate, with some interesting twists and turns...rich tone, dynamic phrasing, subtle percussive highlights, a touch of mischief and a great deal of tasteful, solid musicianship. Great!

Upbeat and refreshing!

These fun-loving, high-spirited tunes make frown lines disappear. With the dynamite chemistry between Jamie and Ashley there's sure to be World Peace sooner rather than later.

This is rich and inviting music!

I saw Jamie and Ashley in a small, intimate concert in California and it was one of the best live performances of any type I've seen. The music is original and unusual, the chemistry between the two is captivating and the performances were virtuoso...
